Building the seats to look like the boat originally came.

When I took the original seats out, I was dead set on putting them back in But!!!

After looking at picture's from other Dorsett Boat's I realized that I had to build seats to look as close to original as possible

The Seats and why I decided to Build new to look like it originally came.

When we bought the boat we were under the impression that the seats you see in this picture were the original seats that came in the boat when it was manufacturer, but after some investigation I found that the seats were very different. I will never be sure what happened to the original seats I will assume that they got water logged and deteriorated some how and they got replaced whit the seats you see in the picture to the left.

I don't have blueprints but with picture like this one and a couple more I found on the web I should be able to reproduce them.
